OverviewBroadPath is immediately hiring a Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will support the development and implementation of reports and analyses across the organization. You will lead efforts to automate processes, enhance business intelligence capabilities, and drive strategic decision-making. Your role will involve engaging with internal departments to understand business requirements, identifying potential solutions using new or existing tools, and implementing effective strategies.
Responsibilities- Evaluates Change Request (CRs) received by users and determine the best process for a solution by testing, analyzing, and implementing, to resolve all identified issues to ensure all business needs are being met.
- Conduct various test on systems, vendor software, hardware, and user changes.
- Analyzes system problems and oversees the research and investigation of system issues.
- Determines impact to division, internal customers, and external customers.
- Implements solution by coordinating resources and/or system enhancements, applying peer and management review procedures as documented.
- Serves as a resource to all internal departments regarding system functionality.
- Coordinates system updates and maintenance and ensures file maintenance is performed accurately and timely for processing changes as directed by the internal controls.
- Coordinates file transfers to other entities.
- Ensures processing systems are in compliance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and the organization’s business partner’s requirements.
- Assesses and executes change management demands on current and future processes to ensure compliance and promote efficiency of processing staff.
- Monitors and delivers reporting requirements timely and accurately as needed.
- Processes and manages sensitive, high-risk, and/or high-visibility workloads and inquiries timely and with accuracy.
- Collaborates well and serves as a subject matter expert to all internal departments, contractors, and customers as needed.
- Lead project development and implementation for operational and technical projects
- Analyze, maintain, create enhancements, and test the Workflow and Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) systems.
- Acts as an interface between business units, technology teams, and support teams to achieve client’s goals.
- Acquires and maintains a thorough working knowledge of workflow and MMIS systems.
- Ensures Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Medicaid business partner’s reporting requirements are met.
- Contributes positively to a work environment that is flexible, adaptable, and team based.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-7+ years of experience (ROP is based on experience)
- Enhanced computer skills, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Experience with computer programs such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook & SharePoint
- 1-2 yrs Healthcare experience
