Pay rates & Shift:
Kitting 9:30-6pm Monday-Friday $16
Order selector 10:30-7pm $17
Loaders 9:30-6pm $18
Forklift Driver 10:30-7pm Between $18 and $20 BOE
Loaders 7pm-3:30am $18
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Receiving and Processing: Receiving incoming shipments, checking them for accuracy, and processing them into inventory.
• Inventory Management: Organizing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse, including proper labeling, shelving, and tracking.
• Picking and Packing: Fulfilling orders by selecting the appropriate items from inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
• Shipping and Receiving: Preparing outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers for pickups, and ensuring accurate documentation for all shipments.
• Quality Control: Inspecting products for damages or defects, and reporting any issues to management.
• Equipment Operation: Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of packaging materials.
• Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Team Collaboration: Working effectively with other warehouse associates and departments to meet operational goals and deadlines.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies, and contributing ideas to enhance warehouse operations.
Qualifications of a Warehouse Associate
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, often up to 50 pounds or more.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (specific certifications may be required).
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail to accurately pick and pack orders and maintain inventory records.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of safety regulations and willingness to adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
