ABOUT THE JOB:
As Event Staff, you will ensure that Harvest Moon Catering standards are upheld with consistent quality.
GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Efficiently serve food and beverage following the service sequence standards.
• Possess competent beverage and food knowledge.
• Read, understand and follow floor plans and seating charts
• Understand and demonstrate proper liquor, beer, and wine service.
• Maintain awareness of all state laws pertaining to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Adhere to set schedules and attendance at mandatory staff meetings.
• Adherence to uniform requirements as published in the employee handbook.
• Must be flexible enough to work in a variety of shifts and environments.
• Maintain professionalism in both appearance and behavior at all times.
• Working well with staff, emphasizing teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 21 years or older for Event Bartenders
• 18 years or older for Event Server Positions
• 16 years or older for Event Porter
• Saturday availability
• Experience in the service industry a plus but not required.
• Outstanding communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Fine Dining experience a plus.
• An enthusiasm to learn and grow with Harvest Moon!
• A passion for food and service with an exceptional work ethic.
• Lifts and transports items up to 20 lbs. from the kitchen to the event floor.
• Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service areas.
• Must be able to be on your feet for several hours at a time.
• Effectively communicates verbally with staff.
• Hazards may include but are not limited to, slips falls and burns.
• Must be able to listen to directions and follow-up with what has been asked.
• Must make a positive impression on the guest.
• Must be teamwork oriented.
• Performs event setup and tear down.
• Maintains proper safety and sanitation standards.
