Small dental private practice is looking to hire a motivated and friendly administrative team member to handle the incoming and outgoing patient channels. You will be the first and last impression patients encounter and we want someone well versed in people skills who can provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for our patients and outside visitors. This is for a ... full time position, Monday through Friday. Must be attentive to details, be able to handle a busy patient load while maintaining a good sense of humor, promote office growth, educate patients, coordinate patient appointments and the willingness to learn our practice's systems and assist with other office duties as requested and needed. We love our patients and working as an efficient team to provide high quality dental care.
The successful applicant will qualify for an incentive program upon completion of a brief probationary period. The incentive program provides medical, dental, paid vacation, PTO and internal bonus system. The position will have the opportunity for professional growth.
Requirements:
• Greet incoming patients and visitors
• Keep front desk and reception area organized and clean
• Manage electronic patient records and ledgers accurately
• Computer literate and able to address email communications
• Excellent people relation skills
• Professional team communication skills
• Willing to adapt and learn new systems and skills
• Answer phones with a smile
• Schedule patient appointments
• Willing to learn how dental insurance works and calculate treatment plans
Bonus:
• Experience in the dental field
• Able to work in the back with the clinical team and/or obtains a registered dental assistant license
