Responsibilities ... Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, directing calls to appropriate personnel as needed.
Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar accurately.
Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately.
Handle patient registration, including collecting co-payments and other payments as necessary.
Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
Manage medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
