Knott Laboratory, LLC is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our team in Centennial, Colorado.
The Administrative Assistant supports the structural engineering departments, the Director of Business Development and the Executive Team as needed.
Knott Laboratory is a forensic engineering firm with 40 years of experience partnering with our clients to investigate building failures and deficiencies. Knott Laboratory Forensic Engineers regularly serve as expert witnesses providing prelitigation and post-litigation consulting, analysis and exhibits for depositions and jury trials.
What you will do:
• Send Client Deliverables, including engineering reports, billing, inspection photos and case files, as needed.
• Review reports for readability, formatting, and grammatical accuracy.
• Draft documents, including retainer agreements, and proposals for new clients.
• Communicate with clients to schedule phone conferences, meetings, inspections.
• Maintain compliance with client requirements for vendor engagement and payment.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, as necessary.
• Review invoices for accuracy and submit invoices with engineering reports and drawings.
• Submit time and expense reports for multiple team members.
• Support and aid all colleagues to be successful and grow with the company.
What you will bring:
• 5+ years’ work experience as an Administrative Assistant, or Executive Assistant.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office 365 including word, excel, power point and SharePoint.
• Resident of Centennial, Colorado, or nearby area with the ability to commute to a physical office location.
• GED or High School equivalent education; bachelor’s degree in any area of focus is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional writing skills.
• Exercise confidentiality and discretion with sensitive company information.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and balance multiple projects, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and make decisions independently.
Compensation
• Salary: $50,000-$60,000
• Job Type: Full Time, 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday
• Work Setting: 1 day/week from office; 4 days/week from home after 30-day training period
