Jefferson Center is looking for a positive, customer service focused person with exceptional administrative skills to assist clients and staff in an Administrative Support role. The ideal candidate will be Bilingual in English and Spanish. The Administrative Support team assists clients and staff at the front desk at an office, answers a multi-line phone system through the Call Center, and assists with administrative projects including caseload management. This is a position that works at the Independence office located in Wheat Ridge, CO. Office hours are 8:00-5:00 Monday- Thursday. On Friday, the office is closed, and staff works remotely. The ability to float to assist at other offices within Jefferson County depending on staffing needs is required. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in an environment that supports strong customer service and a wide variety of administrative tasks.
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
High School Diploma/GED equivalent plus 1 year of relevant work experience required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Language proficiency level will be determined by an English and Spanish language testing at Jefferson Center.
Previous work experience in customer service required
Answering a multiline phone system desired
Working with a virtual platform such as Zoom and Teams is highly desirable.
Essential Duties:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Bi-lingual in Spanish required.
Assist clients, visitors and staff arriving at the front desk or on the phone positively and with a cheerful disposition.
Support Front Office, in-person operations.
Ability to work remotely with internet connection that supports the technological needs of the Call Center and administrative operations.
Answer and support the Center-wide multi-line phone system.
Use technology including Zoom to support virtual operations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday – Friday from 7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. independently and with little supervision.
Strong decision-making skills.
Initiate and maintain effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, staff and the public exhibiting courtesy, enthusiasm, flexibility and a spirit of cooperation.
Timely and thorough response to phone calls, email and other requests from consumers and staff.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive work environment.
Schedule client appointments utilizing computerized scheduling.
Utilize Electronic Health Record.
Float to support the Jefferson Center onsite operations providing front office support to various locations.
Attend mandatory meetings and training. To be compliant with individual training plan.
Reliable transportation.
Other duties assigned.
Salary Grade 8 – Admin Support $50,000 ($24.04/hr)*
Additional Salary Information: The salary range above is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
