We are currently hiring delivery drivers for our medical courier department. We offer a great non-retail working environment servicing long term care and hospice facilities. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van or vehicle to transport packages and documents
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of delivery addresses before each delivery
- Collect signatures, if required
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any delays or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience
-Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
-High standard of attention to detail and accuracy
-Dependable and energetic with ability to work in fast-paced and growing environment
-Adaptable to learning new systems and continual changed in practice environment
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Courier is preferred
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
