Job Title: Forklift Operator (Sit-down and Stand-up)
Location: Distribution Center ... Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Distribution Center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. Your primary duties will include retrieving and storing products, palletizing goods, and ensuring accuracy in inventory control.
Responsibilities:
• Operate stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves.
• Transport products to designated areas within the distribution center.
• Stack and store goods in the appropriate storage areas.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and recording stock movements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a forklift operator, with proficiency in operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Valid forklift certification/license.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
