How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Procurement Lifecycle Management: Proven experience managing the end-to-end process (e.g. data entry, validation and research) of contracts, purchase orders, and invoices within a corporate environment.
- Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) workflows, accruals, and budget tracking to ensure payment accuracy and financial integrity.
- Data Accuracy & Attention to Detail: High proficiency in reconciling complex billing statements against contractual terms to prevent overpayment or service interruptions.
- Process Coordination: Ability to act as a liaison between internal stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance) and external vendors to streamline approval workflows.
- ERP/Financial Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience using financial management systems (e.g., Oracle / PeopleSoft) to track and process financial data.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Healthcare Infrastructure Technology Experience: Familiarity with Technology Infrastructure and billing nuances common in software and technology vendors.
- Service Management & Ticket Auditing: Hands-on experience navigating ServiceNow to submit requisitions, track approval workflows, and extract real-time financial data to monitor the lifecycle of vendor requests.
- Google Workspace Experience: Advanced experience using Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Forms)
- Advanced Sheets/Data Visualization: Proficiency in using formulas and Pivot Tables, or tools like Looker Studio, to report on departmental spend.
- Process Automation Mindset: A proactive interest in identifying manual bottlenecks and suggesting digital solutions to improve the procurement "paper trail."
