As an Account Services Specialist on the Client Operations – Account Services Team, you’ll play a pivotal role by reviewing and ensuring clients have the proper documentation and forms on file to open investment accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage incoming fax communications, ensuring timely distribution to the appropriate individuals or team members.
- Review new account setup data to ensure accuracy, proper documentation, and alignment across internal systems and platforms.
- Enter new account information into the EFE client trading and reporting system.
- Account maintenance for existing accounts (Address Change, Name Change, Planner Change, and Re-registrations)
- Conduct program migrations and conversions, ensuring account attributes remain consistent across internal systems.
- Act as a liaison between custodians and Planning Teams to address inquiries, resolve issues, and implement necessary corrections.
- Perform basic account audits to verify accurate setup within the Managed Services Platform (MSP).
- Respond to inquiries and provide support via the department hotline, offering clear and timely feedback.
- Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to capture and interpret information effectively and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information; confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
- Basic understanding of SEC regulations relevant to investment advisory operations.
- Excellent organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Client Service Teams.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically within a registered investment advisor environment.
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $42,000 - $56,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
