This Project Manager role supports a premier client in Cuyahoga County and is responsible for leading large, complex, multi faceted Information Technology projects with significant organizational impact. Reporting to the PMO Administrator and working closely with leadership, this role drives strategic initiatives, resolves service delivery challenges, and ensures alignment with Information Technology and Executive Administration goals.
This role includes onsite work expectations in Cleveland, Ohio. Candidates must be able to work onsite as required. Remote only arrangements will not be considered.
- Lead end to end delivery of large, complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and organizational objectives
- Define and manage project charters, plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and success metrics, adjusting as needed to meet changing requirements
- Lead and coordinate cross functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders by establishing roles, responsibilities, and accountability frameworks
- Manage project budgets, risks, scope changes, and quality controls to ensure successful outcomes with minimal disruption
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication, status updates, and issue resolution
- Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment sessions, and project kick offs to ensure shared understanding of goals and expectations
- Oversee testing, validation, final acceptance, and post project lessons learned to support continuous improvement
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies while contributing to knowledge sharing and professional development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Seven years of IT project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Professional certification required at time of hire
- Proficiency with project management, collaboration, and productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
