Job Description:
Early Intervention Coordinator
Remote hourly position 30-35 hour a week M-F
Essential Functions:
- Complete all county referrals. Includes assigning appropriate staff, utilizing EMR to set up accounts send out all necessary documentation to support start of EI services, including prescriptions needed for ongoing treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of staff schedule availability for scheduling purposes.
- Complete service documentation to ensure correct and accurate documentation.
- Assist with maintaining pertinent Ivy Rehab, County and State data systems (Example: HCSIS/PROMISe/Referral systems/Raintree/etc.)
- Obtain required authorizations, prescriptions, referrals and required reports.
- Responsible for scheduling of evaluations and ongoing children within allotted dates and in accordance to the IFSP documents.
- Assist with maintaining charts and accurate data in EMR system including quality assurance auditing.
- Assist with gathering and analyzing statistical information required for reports.
- Gather and provide weekly/monthly state session notes to adhere to county requirements.
- Collaborate closely with RCM staff and EI team to support the billing process and reimbursement including denials.
- Liaison with county representatives to foster relationships and provide excellent customer service to maintain referral source as delegated.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Meet weekly with Director of EI to discuss program needs
- Coordinate communication between families, therapists and agencies.
- Assist with monitoring State Registry and assist with follow up for missing information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills and pleasant disposition
- Good computer skills and comfort level with computers, including excel and SharePoint.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Core understanding of Early Intervention and state funding.
- Effective and efficient time management skills
