Position Summary
The PR Strategist will play a key role in shaping and executing Paradromics’ public relations and communications strategy to enhance the company’s visibility, credibility, and influence across global markets. This individual will develop strategic messaging that highlights Paradromics’ breakthroughs in neurotechnology, communicates complex scientific advancements to diverse audiences, and builds trust with media, partners, investors, and the public.
This role requires a dynamic communicator who combines storytelling expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare innovation, emerging technology, and science communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to position Paradromics as a thought leader in brain–computer interface technology and neuroengineering.
- Craft compelling narratives, press releases, and media materials that communicate scientific and technological milestones effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers in technology, neuroscience, and healthcare.
- Support executive visibility by preparing leadership talking points, interview briefs, and op-ed pieces.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and clinical teams to align PR initiatives with broader brand and business goals.
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and competitive activity to inform communications strategy.
- Manage external communications during product launches, partnerships, or key announcements.
- Contribute to proactive and reactive reputation management efforts to ensure consistent and accurate public representation.
- Position is hybrid and candidate should be able to commute to our NY office
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media strategy — ideally in biotechnology, healthcare, or advanced technology sectors.
- Proven success developing and executing PR campaigns that elevate brand visibility and engagement.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex scientific topics into clear, compelling messages.
- Established media relationships within science, healthcare, or tech journalism.
- Strong understanding of digital communications, social media strategy, and analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Understanding of regulatory communication standards (FDA, HIPAA).
