DECAL, part of NEON’s home entertainment division specializing in digital platforms and physical media, is seeking a motivated intern interested in learning the ins and outs of home entertainment and distribution. This intern will work primarily with the Decal Marketing team and occasionally support Post Production. This internship is based in-person at NEON’s New York City office and involves regular collaboration with a primarily remote team. Candidates should be comfortable working independently onsite while staying closely connected with colleagues virtually.

Decal Intern Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Monitor the competitive landscape for quantitative updates and trends through our various tracking boards across the TVOD, SVOD, and AVOD spaces.
- Assist in monitoring placement across platforms on VOD/EST release dates.
- Submitting titles to various upcoming sales on platforms
- Support with any PR and pre-screening needs for upcoming DECAL films
- Update presentation documents for upcoming pitches to various platform partners
- Ability to pull clips and stills from features for upcoming releases
- Attending weekly internal meetings
Post-Production
- Assisting with the acquisition of essential film distribution assets.
- Quality controlling film screeners and audio description for technical and content issues.
- Evaluating incoming deliveries alongside our Operations and Legal teams to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Creating dialogue transcripts.
- Distribution of screener files for features and trailers.
- Assisting with asset deliveries to third-party partners.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 per hour. School credit is optional, and documentation can be provided if needed. No relocation assistance is available. Our interns are onsite and in person based in either the New York or the Los Angeles office.
Schedules vary based on department needs and your availability. We do our best to work around your class schedule.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently be participating in a NEON Internship.
What we’re looking for…
- A keen enthusiasm for film, entertainment, and the independent film industry
- Strong computer skills, comfortable with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, etc), Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel
- Linear editing experience is encouraged, but will not be required
- Highly collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Culturally literate, engaged with a knack for research, and familiarity with social media platforms and creators
- Knowledge of current film trends and industry news
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems, and implement solutions
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and analytical writing skills are essential
