Shift: 1st Shift - Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
(Currently working Fridays through the end of the year; additional overtime as needed)

About the Role: As a Welder on our Metal Fabrication team, you play a hands-on role in building the core of our products—pole-mounted transformers. 🔧 What You’ll Do:
As a Welder at Central Moloney, you’ll bring precision and skill to every weld—helping craft the essential components that power communities. Your day-to-day will include:
- Welding and fabricating metal parts to spec using MIG techniques
- Reading blueprints and following detailed instructions to ensure quality and accuracy
- Cutting and shaping metal to meet job requirements
- Smoothing and finishing welded components for a clean, durable result
- Working with different metals, including steel and aluminum
- Maintaining a clean and safety-first work environment
- Documenting your work and supporting continuous improvement efforts
- Jumping in to assist with other duties as needed—teamwork matters here
✅ What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of MIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints, follow specs, and perform basic math
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Physically fit to perform hands-on work in a production environment
- Willingness to undergo a background check, drug test, and physical
🔩 Physical & Work Environment Expectations
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be comfortable with:
- Lifting & Mobility: Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, and regularly bending, reaching, climbing, crouching, and standing throughout your shift.
- Work Environment: Our facility can get loud and hot, especially during peak production. You'll be working around industrial equipment in an active, fast-paced setting.
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): We provide and require eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety-toe shoes to keep you safe on the floor.
- Physical & Visual Abilities: Manual dexterity and good vision (close-up, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment) are needed for accuracy and safety.
- Endurance & Teamwork: This role requires stamina for long shifts, basic math, and strong communication skills to work effectively with your team.
