What you will be doing:
- Process ACH Written Statement of Unauthorized Debits (WSUDs)
- Process ACH Stop Payments
- Process Preauthorizations; create and maintain
- Process ACH Exception processing items according to department procedures, while making sure they are handled in accordance to NACHA Rules and Regulations:
- ACH Processing Errors
- ACH Origination Returns
- Research and respond to all ACH inquiries, requests and trace requests
- Perform necessary research and process ACH Reclamations received from the US Treasury and other applicable agency/ies.
- Provide support to frontline staff on ACH operations inquiries.
- When applicable, ensure that Regulation E requirements are adhered to when completing research and error resolutions for claims of Unauthorized ACH activity.
- Research and respond to Research Requests from member facing staff:
- Process teller’s check requests, account closeouts, account maintenances, statement and check copies requests, tax forms etc.
- Assist Legal Research Specialist to complete Subpoena requests by gathering account documents, check copies, statements etc.
- Respond to Medicaid and, SSA/SSI Account Verifications, VOD Requests, respond to IRS and other government agencies, private investigators, etc.
What we need from you:
- High school graduate.
- Excellent PC skills.
- Should have the ability to “change gears” quickly in order to speed delivery of services to the membership as needed.
- Exceptional organizational skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Basic telephone etiquette skills are a must.
Work From Home and Hybrid Requirements: This particular position is Hybrid and requires in-office / plus work from home days to our offices in Westbury, New York:
• Internet speed of 100 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net).
• Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.
• All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset)
