- Compensation:
- $140K - $180K OTE (70% fixed, 30% performance variable)
- $100K equity vested over 4 years
- Team: You'll work directly with our CEO and collaborate closely with Sales and Partnerships teams
- Why now: We're onboarding 40-50 customers per month and accelerating. Our current channels are maxed out at 100 marketing-sourced demos/month. We need a growth leader who can scale us to 250+ demos/month while maintaining quality and discovering high-ROI channels that compound over time.
About the Role
As Head of Growth at Richpanel, you'll own the entire demand generation strategy—from channel experimentation to content-led growth to marketing operations. You'll be our first dedicated growth hire with the mission to diversify our demo pipeline, build owned audience assets, and create sustainable growth engines that complement our strong word-of-mouth motion.
This isn't a brand marketing role. This is about driving qualified pipeline through systematic experimentation, ruthless prioritization, and scrappy execution.

Build a scalable, diversified demand generation engine that adds 50+ qualified demos per month from new marketing channels within 6 months.
Success = Scale from 100 to 250+ demos/month through marketing channels (partnerships owns the other +50) while launching 2+ new high-ROI channels.

You'd be a fit if...
Must-Haves Only
- Ecommerce/DTC Domain Expertise: 3+ years in ecommerce SaaS or DTC. You understand community-first, word-of-mouth buying behavior. You have real relationships in ecommerce communities and can speak the language of CX/CS leaders at DTC brands.
- Channel Experimentation Bias: You have a proven track record testing 10+ demand channels and finding 2-3 winners. You build scrappy MVPs, scale what works, and kill losers quickly without getting emotionally attached.
- Content-Led Growth Experience: You've built content engines (blogs, newsletters, podcasts, communities) that drive qualified pipeline. You have strong editorial judgment and can write or deeply edit content yourself.
- Performance Marketing Fundamentals: You understand unit economics, demo-to-customer conversion rates, and attribution. You've built forecasting models and can speak fluently about CAC, payback periods, and channel efficiency.
- Scrappy Early-Stage Executor: You've been the first or second marketing hire at a pre-Series B startup. You're willing to do the work yourself—writing copy, setting up landing pages, launching campaigns. You thrive with limited budgets and make every dollar count.
- Strong Collaborator: You can influence without authority. You work seamlessly with sales and partnerships teams, creating assets that enable them to succeed. Low ego, high agency.
Key Responsibilities
Months 1-6: Build the Foundation
1. Scale Marketing-Sourced Demos from 100 to 150/Month
- Audit current channels (SEO, paid, content) and identify quick wins
- Optimize existing funnels to squeeze more efficiency from working channels
- Month 3-4 target: 125 demos/month (+25)
- Month 5-6 target: 150+ demos/month (+50)
2. Launch & Validate 3 New Demand Channels
- Month 1: Audit current channels, identify 5 experiments worth testing
- Month 2: Launch 3 experiments with $10-20K budget each
- Month 3-6: Scale 1-2 winners, kill losers fast
- Target: At least 1 new channel generating 50+ demos/month by Month 6
3. Build Owned Audience Assets
- Launch content strategy (blog, newsletter, or podcast focused on ecommerce CS/CX best practices)
- Publish consistently (2-3x/week)
- Feature brand interviews, benchmarks, and actionable insights
- Build to 5,000+ qualified contacts by Month 9
4. Enable Partnerships Team
- Month 1: Audit what partnerships needs to drive their +50 demos/month
- Month 2-3: Ship agency one-pagers, co-marketing templates, and case studies
- Month 4+: Provide 2 new partner-facing assets per month
5. Establish Marketing Systems & Attribution
- Implement proper tracking (UTMs, HubSpot demo source attribution)
- Build weekly/monthly dashboard tracking demos by channel
- Create demo forecasting model by channel
- Target: >90% of demos with source attribution, forecast accuracy within 20%

- 3+ new channels launched, 1 generating 25+ demos/month

- 5+ active demand channels generating consistent pipeline
- 10K+ monthly organic visitors or 5K+ newsletter subscribers
- At least 2 channels each generating 50+ demos/month consistently
