Overwatch Construction Management, a leading federal and commercial construction
management firm, is seeking an experienced Controller to manage our accounting and
financial reporting on a part-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting
professional with deep knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and the construction industry.
Hourly Rate (1099): $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the in-house expert for Deltek Costpoint; ensure data integrity and support
- system users.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, time and expense, payroll, job costing, and
- general ledger.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (GAAP compliant).
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and other federal contracting requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership and project managers to track budgets and project
- performance.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint software.
- Construction industry accounting experience, including job costing and WIP reporting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal contracting compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Must be located in and authorized to work in the United States.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
