Learner Education is seeking a part-time, remote Tutor Support Representative to help match students with the right tutors. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about education and can easily adapt to new systems and processes
Responsibilities:
- Review student profiles to understand needs and goals.
- Research tutor profiles to find the best matches.
- Communicate with tutors and manage responses via email.
- Schedule and confirm trial sessions between students and tutors.
- Track trial sessions from start to finish.
- Collaborate with Academic Advisors to ensure successful placements.
- Provide exceptional support to students and tutors.
- Conduct welcome calls for new tutors and build professional relationships.
- Maintain clear communication across teams.
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Empathetic and passionate about education.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with technology and adapting to new tools (Google Suite, Slack, ZenDesk, VOIP).
- Problem-solver with the ability to manage urgent situations calmly.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Open to feedback and committed to personal growth.
- A basic understanding of the U.S. education system is preferred.
- Education, tutoring, or test prep experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must have a computer/laptop, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.
Work Schedule:
We are offering two schedule options (all times Eastern Time):
- Monday – Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

This is a seasonal remote position ending on May 31, 2026. Based on performance and business needs, there may be an opportunity to return for the Fall 2026 season
Compensation: $18 per hour
- Holiday Pay: Part-time employees who have been with the company for six months or more are eligible for holiday pay if the holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday. In these cases, employees may submit the average number of hours they typically work on that day, instead of a default of 8 hours.
- 401(k) Plan: Part-time employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) plan. Please note there is currently no employer match.
