Overview
The Enrollment Clerk plays a key role in facilitating efficient and compliant student enrollment for Stellar's online schools. Responsibilities include thorough review and processing of enrollment documents, meticulous verification of student eligibility, and systematic organization and maintenance of records. This position also provides essential back-office support to ensure a seamless enrollment experience and adherence to all state and school regulations.
Essential Duties
- Review and verify required enrollment documents, such as proof of residence, immunization records, transcripts, and identification forms.
- Ensure that all submitted documents meet the specific requirements for enrollment and follow up with families to obtain missing or incomplete information.
- Process applications that align with school policies, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of each student's enrollment.
- Accurately enter student data into the enrollment system, maintaining detailed records of students’ applications and supporting documentation.
- Ensure student files are properly organized and updated to comply with privacy and security regulations.
- Ensure all enrollment procedures comply with state and school regulations, including the submission of required documentation for online K-12 students.
- Assist in preparing reports related to student enrollment and document compliance for auditing purposes.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Enrollment Services.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Previous experience in administrative, clerical, or customer service roles, preferably in an educational setting.
- Experience with data entry or document management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy when handling documents/data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changes as needed.
Education & Certification Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

The pay range for this role is:
