Job Description
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour
Primary Duties
- Inspect frames to ensure they are straight and in proper condition
- Trace all types of frames, including hide-a-bevel, grooved, drilled, and others
- Remove lenses from frames and place parts such as sunclips and frame pieces into proper containers
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Calibrate tracers regularly
- Log tracer machine readings throughout the day and promptly report any problems or errors to the Supervisor
Secondary Duties
- Cross-train in related areas such as Frame to Come and Frame Receiving
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Computer experience preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or order processing environments is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods
- Frequent reaching, bending, and occasional sitting
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus required
Safety Requirements
- Understanding of workplace safety programs
- Use of closed-toe shoes and safety glasses when required
- Safe handling of tools
- Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
