Position Summary: The Insurance Enrollment Specialist role is crucial to our mission and vision. This position is not just about processing enrollments; it is about ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our customers. Here’s why this job is so critical:
- Attention to Detail: This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all enrollments, changes, and qualified life events (QLE) are processed correctly. Your ability to manage these tasks with precision is essential for maintaining the integrity of our services.
- Sense of Urgency: In the fast-paced healthcare industry, a sense of urgency is crucial. The Enrollment Specialist must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines to ensure timely processing of applications.
- Multi-Tasking: The ability to juggle various responsibilities, from answering inquiries to performing routine audits, is key to succeeding in this role. Your capacity to manage multiple tasks will contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, the Enrollment Specialist ensures that each customer and their employee’s needs are met effectively. This cross-functional coordination is essential for delivering a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities of the Insurance Enrollment Specialist:
- Answering telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assisting with application submission and contacting carriers to track enrollments, changes, and cancellations.
- Making outbound phone calls to carriers and members.
- Performing routine audits of plan rates and benefits for the available plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills of the Insurance Enrollment Specialist:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Prior experience in the health insurance industry required; individual healthcare market experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Data entry experience with high attention to detail.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent listening skills and the capacity to navigate stressful situations with ease.
Compensation:
- This is a 100% remote position (aligned with US Pacific Time) with an hourly wage range of $27 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Anticipated start date: Week of September 1, 2025
