Description
Kforce has a client in need of a Remote Billing Coordinator, Home Infusion. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire billing cycle for home infusion services, ensuring all claims are submitted accurately and promptly
- Monitor and track the status of submitted claims to ensure timely reimbursement
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the billing process
- Investigate and resolve complex reimbursement issues, including denied or underpaid claims
- Work closely with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation and information
- Appeal denied claims and follow up until resolution is achieved
- Keep up to date with changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines to avoid penalties and ensure smooth operations
- Implement necessary changes to billing and reimbursement processes in response to regulatory updates
- Analyze reimbursement data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and reduce claim denials
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reimbursement and report findings to management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve service and sales goals
- Participate in meetings and projects aimed at improving overall service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide insights and recommendations based on reimbursement data to support decision-making and strategic planning
Requirements
- High School diploma required; Equivalent education and experience will be considered
- At least 2 years of experience in home infusion billing
- 2 years of experience ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards
- Front End Billing experience
- Proficient in using computers, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Highly motivated in managing billing, claims, and documentation
- Strong communication skills and adept at problem-solving
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
