Summary:
The Sales Operations Specialist will support the Property & Casualty National Practice Business Development and Marketing teams by managing various CRM/ Power BI data, driving sales, convergence, and M&A initiatives, and enhancing digital marketing and communication platforms. The primary objective is to provide technical expertise that fosters a high-performing sales culture across Business Development, Marketing, and Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):
CRM/ Power BI Data Management
- Collaborate with regional partners and the Applied Epic team to support end users, maintain data integrity, and validate CRM and Power BI database files
- Develop and standardize Power BI reports, dashboards, and advanced queries to audit and validate data related to sales, convergence, and pipeline activity
- Generate and distribute producer scorecards and other key reports tailored to the P&C practice
Marketing and Business Development Support
- Track campaign activity and Market Qualified Leads (MQL’s)
- Aggregate and present sales and marketing data from a variety of CRMS and other platforms
- Help maintain the Property & Casualty PulseNet site by gathering and maintaining information, content, and operational resources that support the success of the P&C team
- Assist with refining internal shared content, meeting slide decks, and resources
- Support initiatives to optimize P&C sales processes and align P&C sales and marketing
Mergers & Acquisition Alignment
- Partner with the Business Development Leader and M&A team to refine shared content, slide decks, and resources
- Assist in projects aimed at streamlining the integration process
- Work with Regional Leaders to ensure smooth onboarding and support for P&C practice team members, developing SOPs to track success and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team and leadership to provide training, guidance, and mentorship for employees new to the Property & Casualty practice
- Additional responsibilities and project support assigned by management
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Candidate should be well organized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task
- Must be self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, a large workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational intelligence and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical, technical, and computer skills
- Problem solving skills and a strong work ethic are necessary
Education, Training and Experience:
- Prior experience in broker agency or working within the insurance sector in a marketing capacity is a plus
- Data management or related experience and will have worked with large volumes of customer data including filtering, running queries and segmentation.
- Previous relevant CRM experience (D365, Applied Epic, Salesforce)
- Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Expertise in additional marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Microsoft Suite, Adobe, WordPress is preferred
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
