Job Title: Sales Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to our sales team, ensuring the smooth execution of various sales processes. You will assist with RFPs, sales documentation, internal sales events, such as Sales Meetings, QBRs, Sales Incentive trips and help manage client lists and CRM data integrity. All the while working closely with the sales team to streamline activities that drive revenue and support overall business growth.
Essential Functions:
- RFP Management: Assist in the preparation and coordination of Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely submission of all required documentation, following up on responses, and maintaining an organized system for tracking RFPs.
- Sales Administration: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, handling correspondence, preparing sales reports, and managing account data in CRM systems.
- Internal Sales Events: Help plan and organize internal sales events such as team meetings, training sessions, and incentive programs, ensuring that all logistics are taken care of and team members are well-prepared.
- Client List Management: Assist in maintaining and updating client lists, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Help segment and prioritize clients based on sales strategy.
- Sales Communication: Support the sales team with client communication, both internal and external, including the drafting of emails, proposals, and presentations.
- Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment on sales processes, promotions, and client needs.
- Other Duties: Provide general support to the sales team as needed and assist with any additional tasks that contribute to the success of the department.
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with event planning or coordination is an advantage.
