Description
This is a full time temporary position. We anticipate the duration lasting approximately 16-20 weeks.
This role requires availability outside regular business hours and is a hybrid position, generally working from our Detroit office at least two days a week.

We are seeking a motivated and organized Executive Assistant for a temporary position supporting our President.
Executive Assistant at Detroit Labs
As an Executive Assistant, your primary role will be to provide administrative support for the President of Detroit Labs, who plays a key role in the Sales, Marketing, Product, and Design departments. In all of your work, you will anticipate current and future needs and develop actionable strategies to get ahead of them.
You will play a direct role in maximizing the effectiveness of the President, helping him to better collaborate, connect, and execute. In this role, you will report directly to the President.
Average day of an Executive Assistant
On an average day, you will work closely with the President to help manage his schedule with accuracy, attention to detail, and regard for both productivity and preferences. You will block time, schedule reminders, and ensure that he has the information he needs to complete key tasks.
You will provide support and coordination for scheduling internal and external meetings, and will take ownership in project-managing logistics for on-site meetings involving him, as well as for local, national, and international travel. You will assist with personal tasks as needed and requested.

Prior experience in an executive support role is a bonus
Ability to work from our Detroit office at a minimum of 2 days per week
This role offers flexible working hours; however, availability outside of standard business hours will be required to provide comprehensive support
Please note: We will only be considering candidates that are local to the Metro Detroit area at this time.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the President daily to prioritize and schedule business tasks and meetings
Maintain and manage executive calendar, proactively communicating and anticipating upcoming tasks and needs
Coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements and logistics, including last-minute support or itinerary changes
Schedule and coordinate personal tasks and errands as needed, including but not limited to: ordering meals and gifts, arranging personal travel accommodations, etc.
Liaise and maintain positive relationships with vendors that service our office

Compensation for this role is on an hourly basis and is $30/hr. There are 1099 and W2 options based on candidate preference
