Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for all accounts payable inquiries for assigned entities.
- Assist with cash reporting and forecasting to enhance financial performance and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Review and approve accounts payable invoice batches, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Process and approve payment proposals, checks, and electronic payments according to established payment terms.
- Work collaboratively with relevant parties to quickly resolve bank reconciliation items related to accounts payable disbursements.
- Conduct thorough audits of employee expense reimbursements to verify accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Manage month-end tasks, including intercompany entries, reconciliations, and various accrual entries.
- Maintain an organized electronic filing system for invoices and supporting documentation in a user-friendly cloud-based platform.
- Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from account executives, employees, and vendors.
- Assist the team during peak periods and contribute to special projects, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
QualificationsDesired Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience in accounts payable; 5+ years of overall accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong general accounting knowledge with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with past-due customers.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in SAP software is preferred.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.
