Job Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Independent Field Canvassers. In this role, you will be responsible for connecting with seniors on Georgia Medicaid who may benefit from our comprehensive home care services. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping others, and a network of contacts in the senior care or healthcare space.
As a 100% commission-based role, you have the potential to earn up to $5,000 in commission or more, based on your performance. There is no base salary, but the more successful referrals you bring in, the more you earn!
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Potential Clients: Reach out to seniors on Georgia Medicaid to identify those who could benefit from home care services, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and mobility assistance (e.g., bed or shower transfers).
- Provide Information & Education: Educate seniors and their families on the benefits of home care services and how they can be eligible through Medicaid.
- Referral Facilitation: Refer seniors who are either unhappy with their current caregiver or do not currently have home care services, ensuring they meet Medicaid eligibility criteria.
- Work Independently: As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and work within your local community. Canvassing will focus on the Metro Atlanta area, and we encourage you to work within your own neighborhood to build trust and relationships with potential clients.
- Marketing Materials: Marketing supplies (e.g., flyers, brochures) can be picked up at our local office in Duluth, Georgia. You will be expected to use these materials to engage with your community.
- Achieve Performance Goals: Your earnings are directly tied to your ability to bring in successful referrals. High-performing individuals have the potential to earn significant commissions.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous Home Care Experience: Caregivers with a network of past clients in home care services are ideal candidates for this role.
- Self-Starter with Sales Skills: As this is a commission-only position, individuals who are highly motivated, independent, and have a background in sales or marketing are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You should feel comfortable speaking with seniors, their families, and healthcare providers, with the ability to explain services clearly and professionally.
- Passion for Helping Others: A genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors and help them access high-quality care is essential.
- Local Candidates Preferred: Since we want to build relationships with local seniors and their families, canvassing will be focused on your neighborhood and surrounding areas. This will allow you to become a familiar face in your community.
Qualifications:
- No prior sales experience required; however, experience in healthcare, senior care, or direct sales is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Reliable internet access and the ability to use basic technology for communication and reporting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation:
- Commission-based pay: Earn up to $5,000 or more in commission, depending on performance.
- There is no base salary. The more referrals you provide, the more you earn.
- Gas and travel expenses are not compensated, as canvassing is expected to be done in your local area/neighborhood to build relationships and trust within your community.
- Full support and training will be provided to help you succeed.
