Job Description

We are searching for a Data Entry Assistant (Part-Time) to join our Technomic Data Management team. This is a work-from-home position, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Under the supervision of the Team Lead, you are responsible for quarterly menu data updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately collect, organize, and input data into our systems.
Use the internet as a research tool
Collaborate with the Team Lead to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management tasks.
Read, edit, and work with PDF documents to extract necessary information.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
Assist in generating reports and summaries based on collected data.

Qualifications

Provide your own desktop computer or laptop and internet connectivity in a private, secure environment (Tablets are not acceptable)
Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours a week. Up to 29 hours available.
Previous experience in data entry or adjacent role
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, ambitious, adaptable and hard-working: attention to detail a must
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Deadline-oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Publisher & Excel
A keen interest in research and information gathering

Nice to Haves:

Basic understanding of food, beverage & restaurant industry
General understanding of menu structure
Food service experience a plus
