Key Responsibilities:

Setup and maintain best practice accounting controls and systems
Manage remote accounting team
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and inventory accounting
Perform month-end and year-end close
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department

Requirements:

Proven working experience as a controller or similar role in the retail industry
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 10 years of hands-on accounting experience
Advanced QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel user
Experience in retail and/or hospitality industries considered a plus
Data entry skills and a knack for numbers
Strong computer and technology skills
Ability to organize and prioritize activities
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
