The Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Chargeback & Collections Specialist to support our Risk and Payments teams. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in reconciling payment discrepancies with Small to Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs), including chargebacks, returns, and fees. Your expertise will help recover revenue, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The Responsibilities:

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with SMBs via email, direct calls, and correspondence
Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure timely payment resolution
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, and Risk) to resolve payment issues and improve processes
Analyze payment data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
Implement effective strategies to minimize payment disputes and maximize revenue recovery
Meet or exceed monthly targets for payment recovery

The Requirements:

2+ years of experience in fintech, payments, accounting, or a related field
Proven track record of resolving payment disputes and recovering revenue
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience using payment processing systems
