Why do we need a Content Development Consultant?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Content Development Consultant to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to manage key projects, streamline operations, and contribute to the creation of impactful content. This fully remote position offers flexibility to work with a dynamic team across the country. Scope of Work includes but is not limited to:
- Schedule, Travel, and Meeting Support, to include:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for senior leadership
- Book travel and accommodations as needed
- Preparing meeting materials and resources
- Take and distribute clear and actionable meeting notes
- Project and Office Management, to include:
- Maintain and update the office calendar
- Manage workflow spreadsheets and content trackers to ensure smooth operations
- Facilitate the flow of information between the CEO, Executive Producer, and EVP of Original Content
- Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned
- Support Production, to include:
- Organize and track content pitches for various platforms
- Request and manage transcripts for video footage when necessary
- Pitch innovative ideas for social media and longform personal finance content

- Experience: 3+ years’ progressive experience in human resources, operations, or similar role, with proven ability to handle senior management interactions and sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Project Management & Organizational Skills: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Adaptability: Experience in a startup or dynamic environment and familiarity with working in a media organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital media, production, entertainment, Film/TV/Radio
- Previous exposure to production management via a role as a Production Assistant, Office Production Assistant, Office Production Coordinator, or Production Coordinator
- Experience assisting executive-level personnel
- Proficiency with Scripto, or other scriptwriting software
The compensation range for this role is $7,500/month, for a 12 month contract.
