Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Test Manager with a strong background in Snowflake and ETL Validation. The ideal candidate will 8+ years of experience and a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the quality and reliability of our data systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the testing efforts for Snowflake and ETL validation projects to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for data validation.
- Provide guidance and support to the testing team to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results and metrics to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to streamline the testing process.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and track testing progress to ensure project timelines are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior testers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake ETL validation and testing practices.
Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in Snowflake and ETL validation.
- Have a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Show proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Have experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Display a proactive and detail-oriented approach to testing.
- Possess the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 01/05/2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $110000 - $135000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
