Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Clinical Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of direct resident care services.
- Serves as a core member of the interdisciplinary client care team.
- Has the necessary authority to assess, plan, evaluate and teach in patient situations.
- Carries out administrative responsibilities as delegated by Director of Nursing or Clinical Manager.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an accredited RN school.
- Participates in educational conferences and updates and maintains current professional.
- clinical competency related areas of responsibilities.
- BLS must be complete within 6 months of start date and maintained.
- Attends all mandatory departmental meetings and in-services.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota.
Work Schedule
- Varied shifts as needed; PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
