Responsibilities
- Assist with processing payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Input and update employee information and ensure accuracy in payroll records.
- Review timekeeping records for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Calculate and process deductions, contributions, and bonuses as required.
- Generate payroll reports and provide them to management as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Proven experience as a payroll assistant or similar role in a finance or HR department.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Excel for data management.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
