Job Overview
Ivans, a division of Applied Systems, a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Customer Implementation Specialist to work with insurance companies implementing new download types or lines of business through Ivans Services, as they prepare to go live with their agency partners. You will work with the nation’s largest insurance companies and solution providers, regularly interacting with project managers and Quality Assurance staff. This role will grow your technical and project management experience with the leading software provider in the insurance industry.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact with insurance carrier partners who are implementing new download types or lines of business through Ivans Services, as they prepare to go live with their agency partners
- Work with the insurance carrier teams to implement and roll out new download types or lines of business for their agency partners
- Execute project tasks on time and to an exceptional standard of customer service
- Learn and use a combination of template languages (XML, JSON, or others) alongside proprietary technologies (no prior programming experience required)
- Work with both IVANS and customers’ product teams to optimize the end-user experience while successfully balancing competing client and end-consumer concerns
- Work closely with our support teams assisting with technical questions or reporting technical concerns to fellow team members.
- Provide training on Ivans Exchange to the carrier customer service representatives responsible for configuring their agency partners for download.
- Keep track of carrier go-live timelines, revenue associated with the project, and pipeline
- Maintain and grow positive relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction with Ivans
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can work remotely or from an Ivans/Applied Systems office
- Ability to travel (1-2 times a year)
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
- Demonstrated experience with customer and project coordination
- Ability to establish credibility with clients at various levels based on industry, product, and technical knowledge
- XML knowledge
- ACORD AL3 Knowledge
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, including strong analytical, planning, and reasoning abilities
- Functional proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Computer Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines
