About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Clinical Administrative Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare administration and patient coordination. As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinical team, assisting with scheduling, patient intake, medical records management, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring that the clinical team’s calendar is organized and efficient. Help patients book, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Patient Coordination: Serve as the point of contact for patients, answering questions and assisting with any needs related to their appointments or healthcare services.
- Medical Records Management: Assist with maintaining and updating patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and stored in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance details and assist patients with understanding their insurance coverage and benefits. Ensure that all necessary insurance information is collected and entered into the system.
- Clerical Support: Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies to support the smooth functioning of the clinic.
- Communication & Liaison: Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that any necessary medical information is communicated promptly and accurately.
- Patient Intake: Assist in gathering patient information during check-in, including medical history, contact details, and consent forms. Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed before the appointment.
- Follow-up & Reminders: Send reminders to patients about upcoming appointments and follow up as needed to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative or customer service roles is a plus, but not required.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computer systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).
- A customer-service oriented attitude with a focus on patient care.
