Our practice is looking for a highly qualified iOS Lead Developer (Onsite).
Job Summary:
The iOS Lead Developer will partner with other specialists, developers, architects and technology decision-makers to guide overall direction of the user interface layer of the site and will work closely with Technical Leads, Application Architects, Software Developers and Management in a highly collaborative environment.
The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering to strategic business vision, enterprise level architecture strategies, and developing innovative enterprise IT enablement practices that build business value.

Job Location: Plano, TX (Onsite).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Primary skill is iOS Proficient in swift or swiftUI (required)
- Having good experience in programming using MVC, MVVM Clean design and architecture, memory efficient programming, multi-threading, Optimized data processing Knowledge of SQL and back-end web services integration via JSON, callbacks & blocks, Authentication mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Apples design principles & UI guidelines.
- Analyzing code for memory allocations using Xcode supported tools and remediation.
- Understanding of source control management and app deployments - git DevOps, intune, appcenter, etc.
- Agile development experience, Interest to learn new integrations with various 3rd party tools and technologies such as powerBI, Javascript frameworks, couchbase, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5+ yrs of experience in iOS and Proficient in swift or swiftui (required)
- Experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation, UIKit, threading, MapKit, etc.
- Understanding of source control management and app deployments - git DevOps, intune, appcenter etc
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000.00 – $130,000.00/year depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
