We are currently seeking a full-time Skilled Nursing Reimbursement Coordinator (Billing). A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Entering data such as new Patient information, admission, and discharge information, and ensuring all data is accurate and ties out.
- Sending out invoices, posting Medicaid, Private and Income Remits.
- Posting ancillary billing services.
- Reconciling accounts as well as following up on any delinquent accounts to ensure 99% collections.
- Performing QA of charges received from the clients and make modifications/changes as required to produce a clean claim
- Utilizing reports to determine tasks that require follow up
- Preparing write-off forms when bed debt is identified and documenting the description of the reason for the write-off
Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years related work experience
- Familiarity and proven experience with Microsoft Office
Do you stand above the rest?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience with ICD-10
- Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) billing experience
- Knowledge of aspects of nursing home insurance billing and collection and insurance company
