Practice - AIA - Artificial Intelligence and Analytics

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient software architectures using Python.
- Be responsible for the implementation of streaming technologies such as Apache Flink Kafka Connect and Spark Streaming.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure standard processes are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and results.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase is maintained.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Apply Kafka and other streaming technologies to build robust data pipelines.
- Manage project documentation and ensure all technical specifications are up to date.
- Coordinate with customers to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to project plans.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.
- Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in Python programming and software architecture.
- Have experience with Apache Flink Kafka Connect and Spark Streaming.
- Demonstrate knowledge of risk management strategies and their application in projects.
- Show familiarity with Kafka Streamsets and Attunity.
- Exhibit understanding of Asset Management Operations is a plus.
- Display excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management
Salary and Other Compensation:
Posting End date 11/30/2024
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – $ 120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
