We're looking for an Associate Closer is primarily responsible for ensuring the timely and complete delivery of closing disclosures, including balancing. Our Associate Closers are accountable for ensuring the closing disclosure meets all required guidelines to help us continue elevating every experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain loan pipeline based on urgency and client experience;
- Generate closing disclosures to borrowers and closing agents at least 3 day prior to closing in accordance with CFPB guidelines;
- Review files to verify outstanding items in need of completion;
- Communicate with closing agents to confirm closing costs and outstanding items needed for closing;
- Collaborate with Processors, Processing Team Leads and Underwriters to meet and exceed team goals;
- Maintain current knowledge of Federal and State regulations as well as industry standards;
- Comply with AFR internal policies; agency guidelines and applicable Federal, State and Local regulations;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- have at least one year of closing experience within the mortgage industry
- preferably have at least one year of experience using Encompass
- are able to work independently with minimal supervision.
