What’s the role?
We are looking for a Web & Event Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for driving demand through engaging, high-quality virtual and in-person events, including webinars, web events, and conferences. This role blends demand generation strategies with a focus on delivering exceptional event experiences that resonate with target audiences. The ideal candidate will manage events, track leads, and measure ROI. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is critical in generating demand and nurturing leads through strategic event marketing.
- Webinars & Virtual Events:
- Lead the planning, execution, and facilitation of engaging webinars and web events to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product marketing, business development, sales, and customer marketing) to develop webinar topics that align with audience interests and business goals.
- Oversee event setup, moderation, and post-event analysis.
- Optimize event attendance and engagement through targeted pre- and post-event marketing.
- In-Person Conferences:
- Coordinate and execute in-person conferences, managing logistics such as vendor relationships, booth/collateral/giveaway shipments, and staffing.
- Ensure a compelling brand presence at events and effectively communicate value propositions to attendees.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote conference attendance and speaking opportunities.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing:
- Create demand generation strategies focused on converting event attendees into qualified leads.
- Manage event lead capture and segmentation, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up.
- Work closely with sales teams to nurture leads through the sales funnel post-event, aligning marketing efforts with sales goals.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Measure the effectiveness of events through key performance indicators such as lead quality, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Use data to continually optimize event strategies and improve ROI.

- Experience in Higher Education or education technology is a plus.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Conference logistics and planning experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
What we offer…
- The base salary range* for this full-time position is between $50,000 - $60,000
