Marketing Operations Analyst
As a Marketing Operations member at Sumo Logic, you will have a demonstrated ability to optimize and execute campaign operations and programs effectively. We are looking for someone who can grow into full operational ownership to build our integrated campaigns and techstack, work with key stakeholders to help improve processes and develop new strategies, move quickly, and show a strong appetite for learning and growth. This individual will help guide governance for day-to-day Marketing operations efforts, including data hygiene, plus cross-functional support across the organization.

What You’ll Do & How You’ll Drive Impact
- Participate in defining and upholding our marketing operations process strategy and execution
- Continually suggest improvements for our scaled program templates
- Fulfill marketing automation requests from internal customers. These requests range from single emails, nurture campaigns, tradeshows, webinars, events, etc.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to assist in tracking, testing, and evolving the effectiveness of programs
- Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the Sumo Marketing team (Demand Gen, Customer Communications, Digital, Brand, Product Marketing)
- Refine and troubleshoot issues within our tech stack, data integrity and data management
- Work within several technologies to ensure accurate data and best practices are maintained.
- Support daily operational tasks related to execution governance, database management, program execution and support, and cross-functional project support.
- Documentation of business processes, customer journeys, and expected outcomes, including mapping data and automation solutions capabilities
- Enablement of internal colleagues on the usage of our systems, as needed
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- 2+ years experience in marketing operations or a similar role
- Experience in Marketo, Asana, Salesforce, Sheets/Excel, 6sense, GA4
- Managing multiple priorities at once, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must
- Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and under tight deadlines
- Avid attention to detail
- Strong project management skills, and experience with Agile project management a plus
- Strong relationship and team building skills - collaboration is your jam
- Bonus points if you have worked in other MarTech solutions: direct mail, chat, enrichment, Outreach, SplashThat, Rampmetrics, Hockeystack, reporting/attribution, etc..

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $122,000. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards.
