A company is looking for a Billing Data Entry Specialist to support internal and external customers by managing billing processes and data entry tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete necessary encounters and ensure accurate data entry in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Manage the referral process for optometrists and perform benefits verification
- Address out-of-pocket cost ticket requests and respond to eligibility-related questions
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, especially Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably NexTech or Athena
- Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute
