We are seeking a highly skilled Plan Administration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will professionally handle incoming 800# calls, support plan level contribution processing in a timely manner, and approve 403(b) and 457(b) plan participant transaction requests with a high level of quality. Additionally, the candidate will manage fee invoices and account receivables, maintain regulatory and procedural knowledge, and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Call Handling: Professionally manage incoming 800# calls, providing excellent customer service.
- Contribution Processing: Support timely processing of plan level contributions.
- Transaction Approval: Approve 403(b) and 457(b) plan participant transaction requests with precision and adherence to IRS and retirement plan document provision.
- Invoice and Receivables Management: Manage fee invoices and account receivables efficiently.
- Regulatory and Procedural Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 403(b) and 457(b) regulations and procedures.
- Problem Analysis: Identify and analyze problem cases, providing effective solutions.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external clients, both in writing and over the phone.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Follow administration guidelines and adhere to schedules.
The base salary range for this position is $46,000 - $56,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in handling customer service calls, retirement plan documents and retirement plan participant compliance oversight.
- In-depth understanding of 403(b) and 457(b) plans and related regulations.
- Proficiency in managing invoices and receivables.
