The Herb Chambers Companies is looking for a professional and experienced Automotive Controller.
Candidates must have previous automotive business office experience, and a minimum of 3 years accounting.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the oversight of accounting, asset management and ensuring tax compliance, as well as financial/accounting decisions of the dealership.
- Oversight of the accounting office personnel along with all aspects of the general ledger and financial statements
- Partner with the General Manager to manage the financial results of the dealership
- Responsible for adherence to dealership policies and internal control structure
- Proactively manage and safeguard company assets
- Actively manage expense structure and vendors
- Strong willingness to adhere to established policies and procedures
- Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by the management team
- Work with the management staff of the dealership to review the data and prepare reports as necessary
Qualifications:
The controller candidate must have previous automotive business office experience.

Minimum of 3-years Dealership Controller required
