Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ISU Cutover Manager who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.
Role: SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (ISU) Cutover Lead
Job Level: Senior Manager
Location: Wall Township, NJ. Work from home - Hybrid.

We are seeking a Senior Release Cutover Manager with 12+ years of experience to oversee our SAP Release Strategies and Cut Over Manager. The Cutover lead will work closely with the other IT Project Managers Business Process owners and boundary system owners to execute the pre-cutover cutover and post cutover activity The Cutover Manager will provide the strategy approach checklists and planning to drive successful new system delivery
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of SAP Cutover strategies to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Responsible for detailed project management of the cutover and conversion work to the new system, resolving discrepancies or process issues related to cutover.
- Develop detailed cutover checklist and project plan incorporating both technical and operations or business tasks
- Handle Billing & Payments processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with release processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in release management. Develop and maintain documentation for release processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all customers.
- Monitor and report on the progress of release activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of release processes.
- Deliver training and support to team members on release management best practices and tools.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions.
- Conduct post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Cultivate a collaborative culture and continuous learning within the release management team.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience, with a proven background in SAP ISU and Cutover Management
- Possess a deep understanding of SAP release strategies and their application in a business environment.
- Strong background in Billing & Payments management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
- Exhibit excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex release schedules.
- Proficient in risk management, identifying and mitigating potential issues in release processes.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
