Lead/Architech iOS Developer (Hybrid)
Cognizant is looking for an experienced, innovative Lead/Architech iOS Developer (Hybrid) to grow with our mobile development team! As a Senior iOSdeveloper or iOSLead Dev, you will be involved from conception to launch creating highly engaging, technologically sound and aesthetically impressive mobile applications for users at scale. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative, geographically distributed team. We seek an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the status quo with creative mobile solutions.
Candidates for this role should have experience working within a financial organization and display an understanding and appreciation for the complexities therein. Experience with digital platforms, distributed systems, and Cloud technologies is also critical.
Experience within a constantly evolving environment that influences the banking experience for clients and employees, including driving consistent frameworks and methodologies to support consistency is critical for this role. Attention to detail and an ability to convey relevant information at summary and detailed levels is a key factor to success in this role. Requires experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Work Authorization

Location: Atlanta, GA or Raleigh, NC.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with product, engineering release to build out mobile UI screens collaborating with backend APIs
- An ability to work in an Agile team
- Strong communication skills along with analytical abilities to handle quickly changing requirements
- Ability to build out scalable and production ready code
- Help junior engineers to scale and review code.
Required qualifications
- Lead developer / architect who is hands on with 11 to 12 years of experience.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SWIFT UI, iOS development along with knowledge in Unit Testing, auto layout, diagnostics, GIT repos.
- Knowledge to consume REST APIs.
- Handle environments and deployments across regions.
- Preference for those who have experience in banking.
