Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ Contacts customers via telephone, and attempts to sell product Maintenance and Protection Agreements
β’ Contacts and engages decision-makers, and applies skill sin the area of communication, customer service and problem solving
β’ Delivers a sales presentation that is partially scripted, using ad-libs as needed, and adapts to change quickly
β’ Offers the best value for the customer in terms of price, discounts, multiple and additional products and maximum term
β’ Stresses features and benefits of the Protection Agreement
β’ Fields questions and overcomes specific objections raised by customer
β’ Corrects customer information on record when appropriate
β’ Closes the sale and is respectful of the customer's rights
β’ Mails proposals and literature when requested
β’ Follows through and calls back per commitments
β’ Works with other team members to provide the highest level of customer service and meet team goals
β’ Complies with and adheres to selling policies, procedures and Company ethics
β’ Completes leads, sales processing and recording
β’ Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
β’ Ability to complete internal documentation
β’ Ability to present information to and communicate with customers and Associates
β’ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
β’ Ability to apply reasoning and comprehension to carry out simple written or oral instructions
β’ Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations, and occasionally interpret and adapt to customer's needs and find solutions that are outside of the standardized situations
β’ Ability to perceive and demonstrate good intuition
β’ Ability to be assertive, self motivated and possess drive
β’ Ability to communicate in spoken and written English well enough to be understood by supervisors, co-workers, and customers
β’ Ability to enter data and maneuver efficiently using a keyboard, operate a mouse, use telephone and headset equipment, and listen while keying information into the system
β’ Ability to meet the physical requirements of frequent sitting and some standing and walking, with bending and reaching as necessary
β’ Ability to demonstrate self control by maintaining composure and keeping emotions in check even in difficult situations
β’ All employees/associates may in the course of their duties come in contact with Credit / Debit Card Data. If this data is exposed as part of their position in the site/center, the associate must protect that data as directed and required by the compliance team to ensure SHC s compliance to current Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
